25 Weeks !!

Hey everyone!!!
Im sorry its been so long since ive done an update!!
Well... im not sure what to say .. haha.. its been a month since my last update.. n not a whole HEAP has happened.

I have definately noticed alot more movement lately... probably in the last 2 weeks he has begun to move alot more noticably and causing me some discomfort :(

Some days .. well MOST days .. there is a certain spot near my belly button towards the left where i think either a foot or elbow of his is pushing outwards n does not stop for hours!! ..Some days it helps when im sitting and i only notice it when im standing up an walking. I have tried massaging it and pushing on it to push him out of the way ... but it never works :S ... so kind of annoying and painful!!! I think today (the 12th of may ) i got a little kick to the ribs .. i was sittig in an awkward position and i felt something push on my ribs .. n its kinda hurt but surprised me more haha ... weird feeling!

Hmm ... i have been sick with the flue last week and the week before.. that was a real annoyance.. just felt totally lousy and had rough nights with sleep ..

Speaking of sleep lately my acid reflux has been TERRIBLE!! To the point where it is waking me up in cronic pain feeling like my throat is burning with fire inside and is going to burn away my throat ... its horrible horrible horrible!!!.. apparently tyson read that it can sometimes be caused by the baby growing hair?? i dont know about that lol.. but ill look further into it haha .. interesting if its true!

Another annoying thing is blood noses and more nose stuffyness... its making my throat so dry and making me gag again in the mornings :(

Surprisingly my appetite is not that big!! ... im actually fine with eating two meals a daay .... sometimes i just get so destracted and i dont think about eating... i try to eat healthily .. i rarely have junkfood.. maybe once a week? hmm

my biggest caving is anything that has chocolate in it .. or an eggy/ creamy custard .. like creme brule .. or custard or tarts... ANYTHING like that makes me happy haha ..

stil cant eat any tomato products or fresh tomato .. makes me sick :( so no pizza or red pasta for me!

i am so in love with sashimi (salmon) i heard its not terrible to eat during pregnancy as it has alot of omega 3 fatty stuff in it .. but some people debate that it has mercury in it .. whoch i dont think is true.. s ive been having small amounts of that.. which makes me happy too!!! :D

not much else has been happening .. went to my doctor yesterday and had check up and saw the baby .. ill upload some 3D and 4D ( real time ..aka moving image) pictures!!
I havent put on too muh weight.. that is why he said that my tummy isnt very big ..and i wasnt super duper skinny before the pregnancy .. so theres stil a layer of fat hidding my tummy.. even though it still looks liek a pregnant belly i only look about 4 months ..when i am in fact 6 ... so he thinks that i will be VERY noticably pregnant by at the most 32 weeks .. so only a few more weeks and ill have that " get out of my way" pregnant belly!! haha !!

I finally bougt some maternity jeans today with my birthday money!! woo!! ... been like months with no pants . n tryign to squeeze into my pre-pregnancy jeans which were starting to get a little too tight .. so i am very happy with them !!
I am still on the look out for some tops to wear.. as im running low on those. haha ..also a new pair of shoes is needed !

Some good news .. i may have a job !! finally! for june/ july! the pay is quite good too which is a bonus concidering in singapore the highest is around $7 - $8 an hour... n thats concidered good pay!! .. so id say mine would be EXCELENT pay haha .. so im very greatful :) it will be good to earn some money so i can start to buy the things i need on my own .. such as baby stuff .. nursery things and items for myself. :D

hmm not much else is going on accept on my birthday it was the worst bday ive ever had by far.... just totally annoying and dissapointing .. firstly i have wanted to get hair extensions for ages.. so i got them done. . they were great!! couldnt even tell they were there and they felt just like my own hair :D .. well the salon that was reccomended to me was the salon next door .. which most of the hair extension clients go to to get their hair died if they want to change their colour etc..
So .. i had it all in mind of what i wanted.. i brought in pictures of the colour and everything. I was very prepared.. the hair stylist in the hair salon said he understands what i want and is no problem! .. HA .. boy did that turn out to be a lie.. i will write the series of events in a time line :

2 pm : hair extension shop .. getting my hair extensions done
4 pm : hair extensions done .. they looked great!
4:15 pm: into the salon next door
4:30pm: started on my hair with applying bleech.
...howveer long the bleech stayed in for : bleech was rinsed out .
5:30 pm ..maybe 6 : hair was bleech colour ... to be expected.. toner still needed to be applied... so they began applying the toner.. and at the same time doing my lowlights..
7:30 pm : rinsing my hair out
8 pm : my hair is grey /silver like a grandma's hair.
9 pm : after wondering wtf had happened n why my hair was ruined he says he can fix it ( the hair stylist) ..so beginds to put in MORE!!!! BLEEEECH!!
10 pm : hair goes back to bleech colour ... right about now im freaking out thinking all of my thin and fragile hair is going to fall out...at this point in time after sitting for about 8 hours .. with barely any food or drink and so tired and hormonal... i just burst into tears.. i could not keep my composure i just broke down .. mywhole birthday had been wasted on some stupid stylist who should never be allowed to touch someones hair. . so i was devstated ( still am! ) and just amazed at how sht of a day i had had which was supposd to be a day that i was going to be happy with new long pretty hair....so anyways..then he bagan to test all the different colours toners to find the best one..
11pm: toner is washed out and well it turned out a sandy blonde / strawberry blonde disgusting colour ... n my hair was like like straw and completely ruined. Not to mention the extensions which originally felt like my soft hair .. now were ruined completely and felt like barn straw . pathetic. he then began to style my hair into curls ...just to hide the fact of how screwed up my hair was..
11:30 pm: my hair was done... guess what . . wow another 30 mins n my birthday is over... boy was i f***ing pised off ... so i went next door to the extension place ( which they had ben waiting around for me to be done) n just sat on the couch n was exhusted ... they were so appologetic n furious with the hair salon .. i kept reminding them its not their fault because their job was done brilliantly ..its the sallon that F'd it up ... so they said to come back n get it re -done .

while i was sitting in the extension shop , next door tyson was arguing with the stylist and the owners of the hair salon about how much they have ruined my hair and that who knows it might all fall out because of them . . BASTARDS!!!! ARGH!! .. so he was inisting on them giving my money back for the extensions out of their own pocket or he will go to the singapore consumer board and the police and file a report.. n that they will end up paying us thousands in legal fees etc.. so after he was arguing with them they gave me back my money that i spent on the hair extensions .. GOOD!

Man i was just fuming ..but too tired n drained to show it .. i hadnt eaten a propper meal that day other than breakfast. and it was now midnight so what the hell is going to be open except for shit take away food liek Mc Donalds.. i really didnt want to put that stuff in my body ... so tyson n i walked around orchard rd ( shopping district ) and finally came to a place called the Coffee Club .. which i remembered is open 24 hours and serves sandiwhes n propper meals and coffee etc... awesome place!! and very well priced too!! .. so we ate there n the food was amazing and felt good to put food in our stomachs !! ..

so that was my birthday ! .. completely ruined and no fun at all .. so i wil never recomend anyone to go to that salon .. i was write reviews in blogs and forums so everone knows never to go there unless they want their hair to fall out ...

So anyways.. i have since gone to mum n dads hair salon n had my hair died dark brown / auburn .. and it turned out really well.. except my hair is sstill ruined by that bastard ... and is now so short almost to a bob thanks to him. so after the other life saving salon i went back to the hair extension place and replaced my hair extensions and now they feel perfectly new and i got discount n everything so it wasnt anywhere near as expnsive as before :) yay!! I am still worried about the texture of my hair.. as im having some hair falling from the top ofmy head ( my own hair) so im freaking out n hoping that i dont loose all my hair. or ill have to wear a wiG!!!!!!!!!! ahhh!!!!

So thats what has been going on in the past few weeks... some good n some bad...

hmm im not sure what else to talk about ... ill post up a picture of my hair when i get around to taking a picture haha .. but now ill put in the ultrasound pictures ..

20 Weeks

Not much of an update .... things are pretty much the same .. my appointment is next Monday at 4:15 singapore time .. so ill be sure to update then !I will be 21 Weeks tomorrow ...so hopefully at my appointment i will get some good pictures haha :) .. anyways here are some tummy pictures for week 20 ... ( sorry they are really bad ... cant be bothered taking new ones .. they just keep turning out bad .. but u get the idea i guess ) ..

Almost Half Way!

Hey everyone!!
Hope you are all doing well =)
well at the moment i am 19 Weeks and 4 Days ... ALMOST HALF WAY!! wow!! going by so quickly!! is kinda crazy!!

Well as i said in my last post my vitamins were on a very high dosage .. NOT GOOD! .. so i tried just taking one tablet that my gyno gave to me in his office (the other two pills were given by the nurse at the pharmacy) ..so i did that for two days last week .. and i immediately started feeling better.. nausea had gone and my feeling of being lathargic and just super run down had gone :) yay! .. so on friday last week, i decided to should double check with my gyno if im doing the right thing ... so i rang him n he said yep that i should be only taking the pills he gave me and hes glad i did research and decided to cut down and that i was feeling sick as my body was trying to get rid of all the extra. So now thats sorted :) much better!

However... my headaches are back ... they are bugging me so much .. its like my whole head from front to back is throbbing and i swear i can hear it throbbing haha .. im not sure why i keep getting them ... must be hormones and dehydration (even though im keeping hydrated) not sue.. but i know some women suffer badly from headaches in pregnancy .. so im hoping they stop soon!! and being in hot weather doesnt help!

Hmm what else... umm .. i have noticed a pattern with the baby! Well.. his sleeping pattern .. hahah .. every night .. at around 8 pm he wakes up n i feel him move... i rarely feel him move during the day .. always has me worried n then he will start moving at about 8 for an hour or so .. then he stops .. then at around 12 or 12:30 am he wakes up again and moves alot .. he doesnt wake me up yet when im sleeping .. but im sure when he gets bigger he will be stronger n wil keep me awake haha .. WOO looking forward to that.. hahaah hmm

Also i have noticed that when he is awake i get bad heart burn / acid reflux ... geez .. annoying!! haha

hmm .. im a burpy pregnant woman .. gas comes with a bundle of joy unfortunately haha ..

I'm still getting ligament pain in my abdomen area ......i dunno .. one of my friends said "hmm heavy baby" so im hoping for my sake SHES WRONG! hahah .. i think at my next appointment i will ask my gynocologist when he will start to weigh the baby ..

At my next appointment, i will be 21 weeks .. i will be having my detailed ultrasound .. or also known as FAS ( fetal anomalies screening ) .. apparently its very detailed n i should get lots of good pictures of him ... so im hoping thats true .. as i have to pay extra for the ultrasound .. so better get good pictures this time round .. coz last appointment was a dissapointment !! grr (grudge haha)

Not much else to report .. Tyson bought me a new dress :) aww yay!!! n its comfy :) and will grow with my belly ... ill take a picture some day ..its good .. as i have no pants.. so = nothing to wear .. n not allowed to buy anything so tys bought me a dress i liked =D so nice of him! :) so heres me hoping i get money for my bday so i can buy myself some clothes to be comfy in !!

Oh! i have been having cravings galore!! haha

And thats about it .. haah .. real pain .. i still havent gotten my doughnuts or cream puffs or fatty char siew pork .. but i did et my sushi , chocolate and coffee in the form of bubble tea !! how clever !! haha
so i shall hunt down doughnuts and crwam puffs and go to the place Elisa reccomended for the best fatty char siew :D woo!!

Okies thats about all for this update.. sorry i didnt update last weeks ( week 18) .. but it was pretty boring .. so is this week .. but all thats happening is in here =D

Wee Wee Stickers!!

Hey everyone !!

As i put in my last post about products i got etc.. mum surprised me and bought me those jungle stickers!! For the babys Wall!! Aww they are so cool I LOVE THEM!! THANKS MUM!!! Buuutttt... to be a total biatch she wont let me put them up till the baby is born or christmas .. BUMMER!!! Oh well i suppose gives me something to do and look forward too. .

Not much is new.. bby is getting bigger... about 5.5- 6 inches now soo about 15 cm .. still so small but growing fast!

Oh in other news. .my doctor hastred to OVERDOSE me on my vitamins hahah ... well not in a purpose way i dont think .. (HOPES!) but im taking way too many micro grams of vitamins in my tablet..so now im cutting down to taking one tablet which has plenty of vitamins in it that the other two tablet have.. DAMN DOCTORS! =(

Other than that .. i dunno what ele to talk about .. so thats about it really .. Everyday is the same pretty much ... boring. . lol ..

Anyways, i will update you all soon , and let me know ( Yes jenny in the comments under this post .. -click on the comment button- =D ) what you think and if you would like me to post videos that i am putting on youtube onto this page too . .

New Cot Bedding!

Heya .. just another post... quick this time .. These are pictures of another bed set mum made today =) .. it looks nice .. i suppose better to see in real life coz the colour of the blue is kind of off .. but oh well! Best i can do!!

Anyways .. only thing to note is that mum sewed the sheet fabric as te ties ( same as the other cot set) onto the bumper , so the other green ties are ticked under the matress and the bumper has been flipped over .. so i can change it whenever i change the bedding , by just flipping the bumper over ! Easy peasy!!

The Sex and New Products!

Hey everyone!
Hopeyou are all doing well ... I have spoken to ome of you that read this so for some you already know that I am having a baby Boy =) Not much happened at my appointment .. i was pretty dissapointed after waiting a month see the baby , and he didnt even show me him or take a crown to rump measurement .. all he did was check for the sex and check the measurements of the baby's head ..

Head = 5.1 cm
Head Circumfrence= 14.5 cm

Also i tol him about the pains i have been having early morning when i go to the bathroom .. its like all my musles are contracting and realy hurts.. so he was looking around and then found that i have an amniotic Band which is attached to both sides of my uterus towards the bottom left or right i cant remember haha everything looks so different on te scan i was confussed.. but anyways.. he didnt actually tell me what it meant because he said it was ok n that the baby wasnt being interfered by it .. He was quite vague at my appointment which upset me quite a bit and ruined my day .. thre is a lon story as to why he pissed me off but im not going to go through it .. it may bore you haha . but if u want to know ..just ask me personally or write a comment on here .. Anyways .. so i dont know how big the baby is but im presuming going by the books the baby is around 14 - 14.5 cm ..

So back onto the Amniotic Band ... i researched it alll last night .. and now im quite shitting myself.. excuse the language .. but yes it has scared me .. because these bands can cause many problems with the baby if it interfers with the baby's growth .. it can cause severe deformities and limb loss .. it is stressing me out big time as i dont want anything bad to happen to him =( ..even though he said its not near the baby im worried that the baby will get closer to it and get caught up in the band .. there isnt anything i can do .. so i suppose worrying isnt going to help ... I told mum whatthey are n what can happen and she said to just wait untill my next months appointment... so im going to have to wait ANOTHER whole month before i can see if everything is ok .. and im hoping there are no deformities and that the amniotic band will have dissapeared .. as it is quite common for the to just vanish .. so im praying it just goes away . . as it can also cause premature labor or for your baby to be in thebreech position ... so yeah a bit concerning .. but im trying not to worry about it .. =)

Okies well not much else.. i got new vitamins .. i now take like 3 differet pills every morning lol ... like vitamin d and more folic acid and omega 3 and calcium and more and more different types of vitamins paced into all 3 .. kind of annoying .. but they are clever .. they have coated them so thy taste nice for pregnant women haha .. YAY!!otherwise i think i would be gagging too much haha .. got enough of that already!

Annndd... today i got my pram delivered... and thats about it .. So i will upload photos of the ultrasound .( they are crap and there isnt many .. sorry =[ ) and also will upload some pictures of the baby's crib and crib set that mum made ( its not finished yet though ) ..and also will put pictures of the pram up :)

know to explain this pram . . there are three different ways you can use this pram .. it can be used for when the baby is older say 9 months onwards maybe .. or maybe earlier like 6 months? it can also be reclined to lay down flat =)

This is anothe attachment of the pram , more for newborns an is is a basinet type carrier... its very dark in there s it llows them to sleep and has plenty of room and is comfy and soft :) .. it also as youcan see has a coer at the bottom of it which can be taken off ..

This is the maxi Cosi which i posted a piture of a few weeks ago when i bought it .. i fits the prams fram and cliks in .. very handy and can b used for new borns up to 12 months :) i also bought an extrainsertion to ake it moresoft and comfy and also to support a new borns head !

The handle of the Pram can also be flipped around the other way , however i like to be facing the baby not away from it ..not untill its older .. and the handle can also be height adjusted :)

Well tats all the updates for now .. there will be aother cot set coming up wichmum wil be sarting tomorrow :) im going to try help again, i wuld like to make my own pillow for the cot .. just a tiny baby one

The 17th Week !

Hey everyone!
Today is the 17th week.. YAAYY ... and in two days time i will know the sex of this little studd haha ;-) I cant wait !! so excited!!! and after our appointment we have a hospital tour =D excited for that too ... Apparently at Raffles Hospital there are quite a few foreign nurss and midwives from England, Australia and New Zealand .. so thats good to know .. also there are local nurses as well but apparently they are much nicer than at other hospitals and take care of you very well and are very friendly ahaha so yay!!! I dont think i would be able to stand someone being rude or pissing me off while im in labour and tired etc.. haha .. so hopefully what i hear about Raffles is true ! Also their nursery is supposed to be very very good and the amount of babies to nurses is good as there are more nurses in the nursery than babies =) so plenty of care..But on monday i shal blog more about what it looks like etc and how the staff are =).

Well not much has been going on lately ...the buby has been moving round a bit more.. but has been kind of quiet the past day or two..so im hoping everything is ok .. should be!! However ive been very tired lately and have really bad cramping when i first wake up to go to the bathroom .. soo im going to ask the gynae about that and probably have to pee in a cup again haha ...how FUN!! :)

Hmmm... also at my next appointment i will be discussing with my gyno the cost and inclusions of my prenatal package with him .. so thats includes all of his costs and cost of delivery ... Here hoping its not too expensive coz i really really do not want to go through the process of finding another gyno .. real pain .. and im very comfortable with Dr K K Chow ..hes very friendly and gentle and always gives me lots of pictures after my ultrasounds heheh =) so pray he isnt tooo steep on the price!! even though he is very reputable .. but oh well!!

Well i think thats about it for the baby news ... But in other news... Jacquis birthday party was last night here in our Appartment building in the function rooom ... we set it up as a glow in the dark disco kind of party .. looked pretty cool .. the glowing worked .. just as usual kids barely danced... probab;y spent a whole 30 mins dancing out of like 5 hours of swimming in the pool .. haha .. oh well.. i think im kind of glad they spent most the time outside the room coz the amount of mess they made was ARGHHHHHHHHHH soo frustrating ... i spent 5 hours making her the cupcakes she wanted which were brownie cupcakes with butter cream icing and with decorations .. i did three different coloured icings ; Blue, Pink and Purple .. i have some pictures of them whic i will load up for you all ... but omg my feet were so sore after sanding trying to make it all and the kitchen was a mess and making the icing was no fun at all!!! Hahaha .. it took me about an hour maybe hour and a half to do the butter cream pain icing as i had to add a whole 1 kg of icing sugar one bit at a time while blending it n lets just say i was not happy!! haha .. then following that was putting the different coloured dyes into the icing and getting it right .. then doing the piping on the cupcakes and having to clean it and change it 3 times.. which was not fun!! However after all the hard work i was quite proud of the first batch of cupcakes i had made all on my own .. woo!!

So anyways .. what i was saying about the mess has to do with my cupcakes.. They all (n i mean 25 14 year old boys and girls)decided to have a cupcake fight inside the function room .. well i did not know this was happening as i was sitting outside the room ... well .. one kid comes out .. covered in my icing .. then another.. then one after that .. then three more .. so on and so on .. i walk in there .. almost slip over on the marble tiles.. because there was butter cream icing allllll over the floor and mushed up brownies all over the floor along with some sprite and coke .. i couldnt believe this .. so i took al their towels and mopped it al up .. serves them right i say to have sticky icing covered towels for ruining my cupcakes and the function room ... so as you can imagine i went spastic at my sister for letting them do that .. n she wouldnt clean it so i had to .. it was a royal pain in the ass n it didnt stop there... table top dancing .. being noisy in the pool swearing .. popping all the balloons ..

well all i can say is .. THANK GOD THE NIGHT IS OVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never again will i offer to make kids nice cupcakes coz they just arent matue anough obviously to enjoy them ... but anyways i shall upload a picture for you too see ...

(oh! and btw .. baby just kicked or pushed .. one of them haha .. yay ! so all is good ! )

The 16th week of Life!

Hey everyone just about at the begining of 16 weeks .. tomorrow to be exact.. so i thought i would upload a picture.. not much to update on ... typical cramping ..and bad headaches... its from mmy round ligaments stretching which hold my uterus in place so they are stretching when my uterus is stretching coz the baby is growing fast...

baby measurements ( rough estimations according to info) :
the baby measures around 5 inches now which is about 12.5 cm i think ... so getting big!! could be smaller though not sure.. everybaby is different ..

Im hoping to get clearer ultrasound pictures next appointment which is on the 16th of march =D and we will be finding out the sex YAY!

Week 15 update!

Hey everyone!

Hope you are dong well =)

Yesterday i began week 15 and not much new has been happening .. i suppose i can do a post before my 16 weeks but i thought i would upload new photos of my stomache!

So the usual is going on .. more abdominal cramps / stretched muscle feeling .. especially when i stand up quickly or turn my upper body too far to one side . Still gagging .. which is annoying .. mostly in the morning when its shower time.. um acid reflux is really bad !! hurts alot and is putting me off food when it comes along . . stillcant eat pizza or pasta =( i wont give up trying though!! haha .. Oh and also something i have noticed with the movement i have been feeling is it happens alot when i have strong emotions .. i think the baby may feel them or something .. thats why they say try not to stress out too much i suppose .. but if im watchin a scary movie i feel it alot! and if im sad or if im very happy! so its interesting =)

So anyways just a quick post ..and no still no work found .. hoping to get something soon! im so bored and want to earn some money!!! So fingers crossed !!

OKAY!!!

first belly picture for people who have been wanting to see ... aka ... PHUONGGGYY!!! hahah okies thats about all.. sometime next week ill make a post... buttt .. for a little info i have now realised the weird feelings ive been having are "quickening" also known as fluttering .. n its when the baby hits a spot in your uterus .. so yeah its funny when i feel it =) Mostly at night time!

okies .. FINALLY !!! i got some pictures onto the blog haha .. stupid site would'nt let me. Anyways , this is my pram insert from newborn to 12 months. It is also a carrier .. little rocker ..and car seat! The brand is Maxi Cosi . Good brand =) (oh and the colours are black and silver/grey).. The white insert is a verry soft cuddly fabric/ padding that is more narrow in the head section which helps keep the baby's head supported. . it is also just soft n feels good haha and is extra cusioning for the baby .

Just another view of the Maxi Cosi , the sun shade is made of a thin and breatheable nylon fabric =)

This is the baby bag! =) i thought it was a cool unusual shape and the colour would go nicely with the pram .. It has plenty of room including a protable change mat a bottle holder and other bottle space . . a dummie holder and room for clothing nappies and wipes and all that fun stuff.. and room for your own belongings =D ..its easy to carry and just great! Mum saw a cute doggy toy in a store n bought it to clip onto the bag .. so cute!

Just some jumpsuits .. so cute! My fav is the bonds easy suit which is on the far left (black and white patern) .. So these are the greys :)

And these are the reds =) hehe .. very cute indeedy .. pretty straight forward.

And some greens =) very cute.. love the stars .. although you cant see much here . thestars are like a rustic sort of print .. and look kinda worn off hehe sweet! The next fav item is the overals!!!haha they are adorable for either boy or girl :)

Okies now this probab;y looks weird.. but its a stroller umbrella =) .. so pretty .. tis black and the pattern you see on one pannel is in a dark grey .. matches the pram very well!!

And again ..

This is the baby sling =) its soft fabrics .. and just so awsome!! As you can see there is also a hrness type thing to strap the baby in. This ensures that if incase it tips the baby will be safe and also makes breast feeding easier. =D

The first nappy packet bought!!! the plan is to buy some each week to stock up so there isnt last minute nappy buying!! haha .. There is another brand i want to try out .. so i may alternate .. they all serve the same purpose in te end anyways!

Last but not least , the CoCo Butter =) it has Vitamin E and collagen in it .. some pregnant women swear by it reducing stretchmarks and preventing stretchmarks and keeping skin moist and soft and stop and itching on the belly =) So far it is doing pretty good !

I am strugging with taking photos of the ultrasounds.. but im gonna try tomorrow .. maybe ill make a video tomorrow and show you on the video .. we shall see .. but ill keep tryin different lighting and such (as it is printed on shiny paper that reflects everything!!!! ) .. anyways .. i shall keep you all updated!!!

Oh and also we got a cot yesterday and is being delivered tomorrow =) And my bed is also coming .. So i shall post photos up of the progress and such tomorrow night =)

Appointment and Newbies

hey lovely peeps!!

ok today was my detailed ultrasound for diagnosing my risk of the baby having down syndrome .. well good news the NT measurement is good. very good he said! it measures 1.5 mm which is good . the only time doctors get concerned or down syndrome seeems to be present is when the NT measurement ( which is the amount of fluid at the top of the spine / bottom of the skull ) is over 3mm =) so mine is prfect! and my chance of don syndrom combining the blood test results with the ultrasound results is 1:29,800 =O .. so its like very low risk ! YAY!!!

hmm.. so yes thats the good news.. not that there is bad news or anything at the moment .. oh! i got a bed! haha .. a proper bed this time not a shity matress on the floor =) tis nice and comfy and isbeing delivered on thursday =) omg i cant wait haha my back is so sore =( .. and i got lots of photos from the appointment today .. even though they arent too good .. kinda wasnt really an appointment to see the bub was more for the diagnosis of down syndrome .. but i shall try make them as clear as possible. ill also take photos of new stuff i recently have bought for you =)

I'll also list my symtoms if anyone is interested or wants to know if they are going through the same stuff =)

okies so symptoms :

-Fatigue! - so tired even if i dont do anything haha
-Frequent urination... now thats a pain .. wake up about 3 times during the night to go =(
-More headaches...
-Nausea ..gagging alot .. think its from nasal drip ..
-Loss of appetite .. not damatic just sometimes
-Acid reflux .. hmmm not good haha
-Very very thirsty all the time ..drinking about 2 maybe 3 litres of water a day haha!! explains the frequent ttrips to the loo i guess =p
-Some mild cramping (growing pains..yes im getting fatter haha )
-Sore breasts =( so sore. . not fair!!

and thats about it ... and also my emotions are all over the place.. cry at the drop of a hat. get angry at the drop of a hat.. n wheni get angry or worked up over something i heat up really fast like im boilling... kinda scary .. haha .. but yes thats about all for the symptoms .. should stay relatively the same for the next few weeks give or take some =) i shall update if so ..

okies well im trying to get photos up of the ultrasound but not going so well .. they are really unclear .. n they wil be hard to make out . =( but i shall try my best!!

SO so far ill put pictures up of the new stuf i have gotten. Mum recently went to melbourne n got me some cute jumpsuits which were good value =) so love them!!! anyways i shall show you =)

THE ULTRASOUND!!!!

hieveryone!!!! well i had my "12 week" appointment yesterday! yay!!! .. however... not 12 weeks YET ... hah yeserday i was at 11 weeks 4 days .. so 11 weeks 5 days now .. not too far off .. 2 more daysss!!!!! totally awsome! Can't wait =D

Well the gyno that my doctor suggested at the Raffles Hospital is actually really really nice =) .. i saw his picture on the hospital website before i had my appointment and tyson mum and I were like .. oh great he looks creepy! haha . .but totally opposite.. very comfortable with him and hes so nice and does not judge tyson or I which is what i need / want! So anyways .. he descirbed a few things to me about down syndrome tests ect.. even though my risk of having down syndrome is like 1 in a 1000 or 2000 .. sometimes its just good to be on the safe side . . so im hoping everything will be ok!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

SO ANYWAYS ! after talking and talking he said it was time for my ultrasound! yay!!! omg i was so excited to get up on that bed and get lubbed up with cold gel stuff hahaha .. sounds kinda suss *lubed* .. but eh! u know what i mean!!! This time i made SURE my bladder was bursting full!!! actually.. too full that i was BUSTING to go to the bathroom the whole time haha .. so then i go up onto the bed for the ultrason and before we knew it .. ahh the baby was up on the screen =D sooo cute.. swishing around and pushing itself off the walls off the uterus and even doing sumersualts !!! so cute ..kinda looked like superman moves haha all that was going through my head was it saying " wee" and it bounced itself from one end to the other. just having a blast inside me !! haha so cute !! .. also my gyno put like a thermal view on the ultrasound so i could see the umbilical chord =) . . twas so cute! ah everything was just so awsome!!!!

so anyways , ill shush now unless after i load the photos i think of something else to say haha .. theres only 3 .. there were a few more but not very clear and sorta just not much haha .. ill try to explain each photo =) enjoy!!!

baby measures: 5.1 cm

Ok this photo is a split screen photo .. its not very easy to see but on the left is the lower limbs .. you can see the legs crossing over hehe cutie . . and on the right hand side is the upper limbs which is the arms and the hands are touching !!

now this photo is to measure the size of the buby!! from head to toe it is measuring 5.1 cm :) so happy!! growing at aperfect rate says the doc =D yay!! The head oson the left hand side of the body and looks like its facing down in my uterus .. its hard to tell .. but once you realise its back is against my uterus ull see where the face and legs are. It is a side profile :)

Now this photo is o the baby's NT .. cant remember what that stands for but its something at the bottm of the skull/ top of the spine and determines down syndrome .. i think it is the ticker the NT the greater risk of down syndrome .. he says the baby's loooks fine its quite thin so not to worry too much! (oh and btw the baby's back is facing us) Oh i almost forgot .. you can see toes if u look to the top left of the picture.. near where you would expect the legs to be theres like little strokes next to each other. they are toes!!! hehe tiny !

okies last but not least!!! My favourite picture of all =) heheh .. this is the profile picture of our buby . . if you ook carefully and hard ahha you can see the face (top left) and the feet ( bottom right ) and the hands are in between.. i think its hands are touching each other =) nawww ... so ys the face you can make out the outline the chin , the mouth , the nose, and the eyes im so in love!! heheh i cantr wait till it grow bigger and we get clearer pictures of the face and hands etc. One day may be lucky to get a 3D/4D ultrasound so it looks real! hehe

okies .. well i hope you all like the new pics .. alot more interesting i think than the first one we got hehe . =) Also he recorded the movement on disk so im hoping that at my next appointment i can get it off him ... but if not then ill ask if he can do another one.. maybe the week we find out the sex =D =D

Ok just letting you all know .. I AM SO FRUSTRATED!!! ..and first trimester sucks :(

week 12 couldn't come any slower... i mean seriously ..what's going on in there!!!??? i just cant wait to cross the 12 week finishing line .. i can already feel myself getting a bit better symptom wise .. but i think as soon as i get into my second trimester... itll be sooo much better !!

well.. next update i think will be next thursday from my next ultrasound =)

On a bored note

Hey hey!

just a quick update.. not much is going on.. i drawing near the end of my 10th week and into my 11th!! omg almost end of frst trimester already!!!! I just hope that everything is fine in that tummy haha =)

Not long untill my 12 week scan. . hopefullywe will hear our bubs heart beat and see him/ her move around a little bit hehe =D ... Speaking of the scan.. i still havent found a gynea yet!!! .. sooo .. Tyson and I are going to go look around at hospitals and ask for the most recomended gynea's at the hospital / clinic.

I think we are going to check out Thompson Medical Center (TMC) , KKH , and NUH .. might check out Mt Elizabeth .. not sure.. i know its quite expensive. But what is most important to me firstly is how the staff treat us while we go on our tours, secondly the facilities .. the rooms need to be comfortable and spacious .. there needs to be room for tyson to stay for the couple of days i will be there ( .. dont want him to miss the acton hahah! ) also they need to have birthing pools ( baths - maybe even hydro baths for relaxation especially during labor! gah!! ) and showers. . the food doesnt bother me .. dont think i will be eating much ..at least not till after the birth hahah .. Having a tv would be quite good however.. something to distract me ..hmmm i dunno what else.. i think thats about it with my expectations .. well actually one of the most important things is that the place is flexible with our own birthing plan .. flexibility with how i feel comfortable giving birth etc.. because i know some hospitals do it one way and one way only.. i want to be free to do what i feel is right and more comfortable for me =) ..hopefully not too much to ask for !

Basically i am just hoping for a natural birth as much as possible.. i want to avoid an epidural .. try and battle through it haha but if its too much to bare i might get some pain killer shot or something .. whatever else they offer. But yeah I would love to have a water birth but im not sure if they do that in singapore ..so im hoping that laboring in a bath tub will ease my pain a bit and take pressure off. . =) .. ok im completly rambling. . im a little bored if you haven't noticed hahah.

So anyways .. nearing the end of week 10 and im going pretty good .. feeling sick off and on .. but i think its more related to a hunger sick .. eg: in the mornings .. lunch time and really late at night. . . hmmm ive been getting alot more tired at around 4:30 / 5 .. like exhusted .. no matter what im doing i could collapse and fall asleep right away!! haha .. hmm im getting dizzy alot too .. which sucks :(

what else... Oh .. last but not least , i am growing a more noticable belly now!! hehehe .. mum told me today .. she said " ive noticed your tummy is getting rounder and harder .. much more noticeable .. especially from the side" hehe .. and i notice now when i give tyson a hug i fel my tummy pressing against him alot more!!! so its growing!!! soon ill be huge i reckon haha!! big prego lady comin through!!!

anyways .. the next post will be about week 11 .. maybe.. if anything has changed.. may post about the hospitals and clinics we have visited =)

and the next post will be ultrasound pictures.. and maybe even a video if i can get one of those!!! fingers crossed!!! and i may put up pics of my belly =)

Just some Stuff

Well .. this blog isnt really a blog haha. I have had a request to put up pictures of things we have bought for the baby =) ..
so today i'll gradually add photos. There's quite a bit so ill try not to put too many up!

The jumpsuit is gorgeous and is for those 6 months old. I originally i bought one for a 1 month old, but it looked a tad bit too small, so i changed it and got this one!

Anyways, i got this from a beautful french design boutique type store from Tanglin Mall called Chateau de Sable. It has some adorable things so go check it out!
Not too expensive either. The jumpsuit cost me only $24 =)

I think my favourite things are the two dummies ( pacifiers) that are ontop of the jumpsuit =D they are so cute ..

One says i love mama and the other says papa is the best =D how cute!!! Tyson loves them too =)

We also got was a little beanie and mittens that match from my mum, and my little sisters bought some tiny socks from the same french place as the jumpsuit, GORGEOUS !!!

I cant really be bothered saying where ever piece is from and what it is haha .. I'll only do a brief description of items that may not be so obvious .. which isnt many haha ..

These are blankies. . the one with the rabit is so cuddly .. my mum bought the rabit seperately and sewed it onto the blanket =) too cute!

These are the nappy covers .. simple , plain .. but much neater looking than showing the nappy on its own . They also give you extra coverage!!!

These are just some little tos we have gotten for our little one ... the two round toys are teething toys and rattle .. very cute! and the other toys are for bath time with a ducky boat and whale!

This is the brand of bottles we have gotten .. i think we have 6 all together at the momnt with spare teats. It is a japanese brand. Very good quality and no danger of harsh chemicals beng released into the milk. =)

This is a cute little thing so our baby can sleep in between us on the bed or next to one of us so we dont roll over onto the baby..and so the bub doesnt roll around either. They are also good to put in their cot so the baby doesnt move around too much =) It is all made of breathable fabric incase they end up face down into it, the bub can still breathe!

Hey everyone! This is my first pregnancy ! yay!!!

I am currently only 10 weeks pregnant .. not far off the end of first trimester!!

througout my blog ill be posting ultrasounds and talking about things i have bought, things i have been feeling and doctors appointments and birthing plans etc. . so hopefully soon things will get more interesting!

So lately i have been buying some basic things .. simply because im so excited and just want to buy all cute things !! haha especially the really cuddly fabrics !

What I've bought so far:

Bath Thermometer
Finger thermometer
bath toys ( ducky family and boat )
about 3 blankets
two bath towels and face washers
about 6 bottles and teats for different months
breast pads
dummies ( about 8!)
bottle cleaning brushes
about 5 jumpsuits 03 months

.....n i think thats about it so far! hahaha . i know i went a little crazy right!!! but it wil all be used for sure. theres so much stuff to buy! although everybody thinks diferentlly about what they want etc. So yes thats about it for now.

I had my blood / urine tests done week 8 for hepatitis , anitbodies rubella .. blood cell counts etc. . all is fine :) which is good!!! yay!

My next doctor appointment / ultrasound appoitment is in week 12 .. so two weeks away on the 4th of Febuary i will get to see my little buby again!!! =D .. so excited!!! I can feel my uterus growing at the moment as i have light cramping again which dissapeared after 7 weeks up untill 9 weeks they started again .. so i guess that is good news that our baby is growing :)

I had an Ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days .. it looks tiny .. I had to have a viginal scan as i had'nt consumed eough water before the ultrasound .. as i wasnt expecting to get one. I shall attach a photo!

6 Weeks 3 Days ( uterus measuring 8 cm ) *sorry it is so unclear*

That is about all at the moment . I will update in a coupl of weeks abut my next appointment .. unless something happens earlier =)

At the end of every week I have decided to write down how big the baby is measuring and uterus size and symptoms ect. =)

10 Weeks:

Size: 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) about the size of a prune !!

What's forming?

Bones and cartilage are forming
The small indentations on the legs are developing into knees and ankles!
The elbows on our bubs arms are now working and moving =)
Tiny buds of baby teeth are forming under the gums
Stomach is producing degestive juices
Kidneys are producing larger amounts of urine
And if its a boy, he will be already producing testosterone

Uterus size : a bit bigger than a grapefruit!

Symptoms: Month Three

Fatigue, lack of energy, sleeeeeepy !!
Frequent Urination ... yeah thats annoying haha
Nausea ... yeah .. wish it would **** off! :)
Excess saliva .. hmm no ..
Heartburn, Acid reflux - check check
Food aversions / cravings ... ahuh! BRING ON THE PICKLES! =D
Breast changes ... yahuh
Visable veins all over your body .. yerps
Occasional headaches .. yah .. try one for three days in a row! grrrr
a little more rounding of your belly .. clothes feeling uncomfortable ... YEP!

Well thats about it really .. if there any changes to symptoms next week ill be sure to let you all know =)
